Medical Care

People who are injured at work in Georgia are entitled to medical care. You do not have to pay a copayment. You do not have to pay a deductible. All of the expense must be paid by your Employer’s workers’ compensation insurance company.

You are also entitled to reimbursement for travel expenses to medical appointments.

Employers will often tell you that you have no choice about which physician you can go to. But you do have a choice.
